Meet Your Hosts
Matt Kerney (Pictured, Left) is a Michelin Star rated chef. He is most notably known in the city for his work at Ambria, Schwa, and Longman & Eagle. His years of experience in fine dining brings unique flavors and distinct recipes to Smylie Brothers. While Matt is a Chicago native, he has perfected his skills both near and far and even cooked on Maui for some time! Thankfully, we are getting a chance to experience some of his incredible talents and flavors with his specially crafted menu that is only available at this one-night-only event!
Brad Pulver (Pictured, Right) is the head brewer at Smylie Brothers Brewing Co, and has many degrees in brewing! Brad studied brewing at the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago and the Doemens Brewing Academy in Munich where he earned an International Diploma in Brewing Technology, so you know you’re meeting the expert in all things beer! Most recently, he was the senior brewer Arcadia Ales in Battle Creek, Michigan—one of the few 100% open fermentation breweries in the country
