Pilot Project Brewing opened their Wrigleyville location just a year ago, and is known for their scratch kitchen, craft beers, and HUGE patio that has a perfect street line view of bustling Clark Street.

Devious Lounge sits under Pilot Project Brewing’s Wrigleyville space, though it feels worlds apart from the brewery upstairs or the sports bars lining Clark Street. Low lighting, lush seating, and vinyl spinning from the speakers give it the sensibility of a speakeasy, designed for lingering rather than rushing between innings. This is a cocktail bar for people who care about what’s in their glass.

The drinks are spirits-forward, intentionally curated, and designed to be enjoyed slowly– the way a proper cocktail should.

For one night only, on October 7th, we are hosting a Lakeview East Supper Club at the Devious Lounge. Enjoy four small bites, all paired with a cocktail. Here is the menu for the evening:

Sip, Taste & Explore: North American Amaros at Apothecary Lounge

You know amaro. But what about the bottles being made right here in North America?

For our next Lakeview Social + Supper Club, we’re heading to Apothecary Lounge, 3242 N Clark, for an intimate evening of sipping, snacking, and getting a little nerdy about one of the bar world’s most interesting categories.

Apothecary’s beverage team will guide guests through a flight of four North American-made amaros and liqueurs, exploring how producers on this side of the Atlantic are putting their own spin on bitter, herbal, sweet, spiced, and wonderfully complicated drinking traditions.

The evening’s flight will feature Don Ciccio & Figli Amaro Delle Sirene, Licor del Sobador, High Wire Southern Amaro, and Cohasset Punch, with conversation around each pour and plenty of room to ask questions along the way.

And because we would never ask you to drink four mysterious herbal concoctions on an empty stomach, Apothecary’s food team is pairing the evening with a Peruvian chicken and watermelon salad followed by blueberry and goat cheese tarts.

Whether your home bar already contains an alarming number of bitter bottles or you have absolutely no idea what amaro is, this one is designed to be approachable, delicious, and a very fun excuse to spend an evening inside one of Clark Street’s newest cocktail lounges.

Mexican Independence Day falls on Tuesday, September 16th this year, and we can not think of a better way to celebrate than with tequila at a family-owned Mexican restaurant. El Mariachi Tequila Bar & Grill is hosting our September Lakeview East Supper Club on Mexican Independence Day, with Don Fulano Tequila! With three courses, three margaritas, AND a tequila flight, this is a fiesta you do not want to miss. Lakeview East Supper Club at Cumin

Cumin made its Lakeview East debut this past December at 1039 W Belmont, bringing the rich, bold flavors of Indian and Nepalese cuisine to the neighborhood! Their original Wicker Park location has been a beloved staple since 2010, and now, locals and visitors alike can enjoy their culinary excellence closer to home. Cumin’s thoughtfully curated menu features an enticing array of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages—each crafted to elevate your dining experience. Using a wide range of traditional cooking techniques and fresh, aromatic spices, the chefs capture the essence of Indian and Nepalese flavors. Many dishes are prepared in a traditional clay oven (tandoor), infusing meats with a smoky richness and unmistakable depth of flavor.

On Wednesday, May 21st, Cumin is hosting the latest Lakeview East Supper Club! This special family-style dinner will feature three generous courses, each with multiple dishes so guests can sample a variety of their most popular offerings. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes will be served, and Cumin is happy to accommodate vegan and dairy-free dietary preferences.

Istmo Mezcal Pairing Supper Club

Istmo has brought the rich, authentic flavors of Oaxaca to the heart of Lakeview! Since opening its doors in 2024, this vibrant new addition to Chicago’s culinary scene has already made a lasting impression. Istmo’s menu showcases iconic Oaxacan dishes, thoughtfully crafted to introduce Chicagoans to the bold, colorful, and deeply rooted flavors of Mexican cuisine. Executive Chef Carlos Lopez Munoz says, “Bringing Oaxaca to Chicago is like sharing a piece of my heart. Through Istmo, I am to convey the passion, tradition, and soul of my homeland, offering each guest a taste of it’s rich culinary heritage.”

For one night only, on Tuesday, June 10th, Istmo is hosting a special Supper Club, with mezcal pairings and cocktails by Prolijo Mezcal, an award-winning small batch mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico. This four-course meal has been crafted by Chef Carlos Lopez Munez himself, and he has made each course specifically to pair with each mezcal tasting. Tickets are priced at $95 per person and include all the courses, tastings, and a mezcal cocktail, tax, and tip!
